Pastoral Staff

Rev. Dominic Lee, Associate Pastor

I was born in Hong Kong, China. I came to the United States of America in 1991. I studied a year an intensive English course at U.S. F and two years at St. Patrick's Seminary for pursuing priesthood. On April 9 1994, I was ordained as a priest by Archbishop John Quinn at St. Mary Cathedral San Francisco. I spent seven and half years at St. Anne of the Sunset Church San Francisco after my ordination and four years at St. Finn Barr Church (near City College).

I was so happy to be assigned by Archbishop William J. Levada on June 1 2005 to St. Matthew Church. It is a big parish and I hope to build up a nice Christian Community with my brother priests, deacon and parishioners by celebrating Mass and by charitable outreach, taking care of the needy and the sick in this area.

My hobbies are writing, traveling and cooking. I like readings books and exploring my Vision and Mission. By traveling, I could bring parishioners to visit places of Pilgrimage, such as Lourdes, Israel, Fatima, Portugal, Our Lady of Guadalupe, Mexico, Our Lady of Knock, Ireland help them feel closer to God and be renewed in body, mind and Spirit. By cooking, I can build up good relationship with others in serving them with good Chinese food. I look young although I am going to be 48 because I like to eat fish and enjoy my cooking!!
