Faith · Knowledge · Community

St. Matthew Catholic School is a coed parish school of approximately 600 kindergarten through eighth grade students.

At St. Matthew, the core values of faith, knowledge, and community are intertwined. Since our founding in 1931, we have been committed to keeping the Catholic faith alive and to building a strong, integrated academic curriculum focused on the whole child: spiritual, academic, physical, social, and emotional. St. Matthew continues to offer the same quality education that it has provided to the families of San Mateo County for over 80 years. We commit ourselves to live the "PEARL" of the Holy Spirit.

  • Person with Strong Character
  • Effective Communicator
  • Active Christian with Catholic Vision
  • Responsible Citizen
  • Life Long Learner

We encourage you to attend our admissions events, mainly our "Take a Peek Tuesdays", Prospective Family Tour Day, and our Open House. Our goal is to give you every opportunity to discover St. Matthew for yourself!
