Sacraments at St. Matthew

The sacramental life at St. Matthew's Parish is integral to growth in the likeness of Christ and to renewal of the spirit of our life as a family of believers. To prepare for each of these sacramental encounters with Christ and the community, the following steps are to be taken:

Baptism of Infants

A catechesis is required for parents and godparents to deepen the understanding of their role in the religious formation of their children. The sacrament of Baptism is celebrated upon completion of this catechesis and by appointment only. Classes are held on the 1st Monday of every month at 7:30 p.m. in the Church. Confessions

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is an important encounter with Christ who forgives us and strengthens us to walk in His way. The hours for this sacrament are:

5:00 - 5:30 pm in the Blessed Chapel

Saturday
11:30 am - 12 noon
4:30 - 5:30 pm

Youth Confirmation

(First Year High School Students) Requirement: A one-year program in Catechesis beginning in October.

Please contact a priest at least six months prior to your proposed wedding date.
