Everyone moved by the Spirit is a child of God.
~ Romans 8:14

At Confirmation, we receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit and we are filled with God’s grace through the anointing of Chrism oil and the laying on of hands by a Bishop.

Through the Sacrament of Confirmation, we renew our baptismal promises and commit to living a Christian life. While Baptism initiates us into the Church and names us as children of God, Confirmation calls us forth as God’s children and unites us more fully to the mission of Christ in the world.

Preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation is a two-year program that usually begins in the fall of your freshman or sophomore year of high school. Teens should be 14 years old at the beginning of preparation. Confirmation classes are held each Wednesday from 7pm-8:45pm.

The Adult Confirmation Preparation Program is for parishioners who are over 18 years of age and who have been baptized and received First Communion, but who have yet to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.
