Weekday Mass
Posted 08/03/2020 01:06PM

We will be offering weekday Masses, Monday to Friday at 12:05pm. These Masses will be outdoors, until the School and Church buildings are open to the community.

To participate, you MUST (1) sign an Informed Consent document once and (2) register in advance for each Mass each day in order to be certain we do not surpass the limit set by the County Health Officer. Those not already registered might be turned away or asked to wait until all those registered have arrived and been seated.

The outdoor worship space will not be available before 11:45am, and it will be necessary to check in upon arrival. Chairs will not be provided, so you are urged to bring your own light weight seating. You will of course be responsible (a) to wear a mask, (b) maintain physical distance of 6 feet from others, and (c) sanitize your hands upon arrival and before receiving Holy Communion. Please no socializing before or after Mass.

We will do this on a trial basis from week to week, as long as county protocols allow.  As we have all learned, county protocols can change from day to day.  If at any time the county health officer declares that such gatherings are no longer safe or permissible, these outdoor Masses will be suspended immediately.  So it really is important that you register for each day's Mass, so that we can promptly inform you of any sudden change in schedule.

Why are we asking you to reserve?

  • We have limited capacity
  • The lists allow for a swifter case investigation and contact tracing and the rapid initiation of appropriate isolation and quarantine of affected congregants should the need arise. Should the lists need to be used, please note that they are completely confidential.

  • Please bring your own seating or be prepared to stand for the short Mass.
  • Please use the hand sanitizer provided at points of entry or bring your own.
  • Please bring your own mask.
