A Message from Monsignor Talesfore, Pastor
My brothers and Sisters in Christ,
I invite you to reflect on our call to be good stewards.
Stewardship is built on four key principles: to receive God’s gifts gratefully, to cultivate God’s gifts responsibly, to share God’s gifts lovingly and to return God’s gifts with increase. This is an exciting and ambitious undertaking that we hope will encourage each of us as Catholic Christians to experience stewardship as a way of life.
Our Stewardship Committee hopes to engage your support as a committed member of our parish in response to the Lord’s invitation to follow Him on the path of Christian stewardship. Our objective is focused on one thing: a prayerful commitment to stewardship at an individual level. This means that you will be asked to give of their time, talent and resources in ways that are unfamiliar to some. We are assured of positive change inspired by our Lord as the result.
Thank you, and may God bless you!
Sincerely yours in Christ,
I pray that you will join me and consider renewing your commitment to the Church in San Francisco with a gift to the 2016 Archdiocesan Annual Appeal. St. Matthew’s 2017 AAA Goal is $135,602. Learn more »
Ways to Give
GIVE THROUGH PRAYER
Pray daily for yourself and family and include your parish community.
GIVE YOUR TIME & TALENT
There are many ways to contribute to St. Matthew Catholic Church through sharing your gifts and works. Please visit the Ministries and Organizations section of the website to learn about the many ways you can help and get involved in the parish.
GIVE AS A FINANCIAL GIFT
Financial gifts to the parish are tax-deductible and enable the parish to fulfill its mission to serve God and His people.
These are specific parish needs identified by parishioners and clergy where one can give some or all portions of financial assistance toward strengthening our parish community.
As “A Family of Faith in Service to Others” we share the hope and salvation of Christ, our brother. Fr. John
