First Communion

We receive in the Eucharist the food of eternal life.

First Holy Communion

Sharing in the body and blood of the Lord at Mass (Eucharist) for the first time is a child’s special and sacred connection with our community, one which will be a treasured memory. Eating and drinking with the rest of the community at the Table of the Lord is a sign of belonging fully to that community.

Children baptized as infants are eligible for First Holy Communion from about seven years of age. We offer children prayerful and practical help to celebrate the sacraments with proper devotion and to coach them in the rituals of receiving the sacraments.

I am the BREAD of LIFE, he who comes to me will never go hungry and he who BELIEVES in me will never be thirsty.
~ John 6:35
